Paradise Lost Collectors Weekend' Open Call

News By ArtDeadline.Com

WAH.jpg
International Deadline: February 28, 2012 - The WAH Center is now accepting submissions for the Paradise Lost Collectors Weekend. Major collectors are in town that weekend because of the Antiquarian Book Fair. This is an opportunity for them to see work related to their interests. Your work should be for sale, but should not be too expensive.

A great opportunity that seldom happens - housed in a French Second Empire masterpiece built in 1867, a New York City Landmark that is also on the National Register of Historic Places - the WAH Center offers artists a visually stunning and truly unique exhibition space. We look forward to including your talent in what will be an exceptional exhibition.

ELIGIBILITY
Art must specifically illustrate Milton's Paradise Lost. You can choose any scene, but the a few subjects we would especially like illustrated include
Satan rising up off the pool of fire; Eve seeing herself in the water, The Temptation; The Expulsion.
